Whilst Bassett Street Gardening Club continues to set out the case for them to be allowed to continue, crops are ripening in the garden.

Excepts from letters from members in support of the garden:

“I am completely opposed to tax payers money being used to demolish the well used  community garden and find it unbelievable that a solution can not be found to accommodate the residents of 6-60 Bassett Street who can apply for any of the vacant plots as well as the wider community to continue to use this space as the multicultural, intergenerational gardening club that it currently is.”
